Although we originally had a plan for our costumes, on the day these changed slightly due to the weather.
Due to the weather on the days that we filmed, we decided that it would be better for Chelsea to wear jeans and a colourful jumper as it was too cold. The costume that she was supposed to wear was an autumnal dress. This costume had the same effect as we wanted her to have a more bright and cheerful look compared to the song's theme.
For the interior shots during the day, Chelsea wore a green long sleeve top and dungarees. This created a casual feel that our target audience would be able to relate to.
For the scenes shot during the evening, Chelsea wore a light pink dressing gown to connote to the audience the time of day the scene was taking place. Although this was not our original costume idea, I feel as if it worked well as it added a girly aspect to the music video.

The final costume we used, was Chelsea in her work uniform. This helped to make the character more relatable as it implies that she has another job apart from singing which bridges the gap between non-singers and singers.
